Supporting the LGBTQIA+ community has always been in Absolut’s DNA, as part of the belief that a colorful, diverse and equal world is something to strive and work for. In the early 1980’s, we advertised directly to the LGBTQIA+ community through ads in LGBTQIA+ targeted magazines, in a time when association with this community was still challenging for most brands. This opened up an area of rich collaborations with this creative, vibrant and inclusive community ever since.
